Safety Tests: - Reverse mechanism: Place a 2x4 under the door—it should reverse when contacting it - Photo-eye sensors: Wave an object through the beam while closing - Balance test: Disconnect opener and lift door manually halfway—it should stay put
Hardware Check: - Tighten all brackets and bolts - Check track alignment - Test opener batteries - Update opener codes if needed
